English Tea at the TGFM

Thank you all for your patronage and support during my first season at the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market

As a special treat, for the next 2 (final) Saturdays of the Tower Grove Farmers Market you will be able to have English Tea in the park!

Traveling Tea is bringing some of the “Queen’s Cuisine” to the Market.  This special treat is thanks to Jane of Queen’s Cuisine http://www.queenscuisine.us/.  Additionally, Jane will be at my booth to answer your questions and take orders for anything we don’t have on hand (or run out of)

Possible offerings include:
English style scone flavors: Rich, Golden raisin, Cheese, Whole wheat, Date, and peach.
We may also have some American style: craisin and orange, apple and cinnamon, and blueberry and lemon
Scones are $1.50 each and this includes tax.  If you buy a dozen then you get them for $15.00.
Clotted cream is $6.50 per one cup jar.
Melton Mowbray pork pies are $7.50 each
Sausage rolls are $2.00 each or $1.75 each if you buy more than 6.
Individual pecan pies are $5.00 each.

Eccles cakes and lemon tea bread are priced the same way as the scones, and you can also mix and match a dozen for $15.00.

Please contact me right away if you want to place an advance order for pickup this Saturday.  I believe she tries to do her baking on Tues and Wednesday.

This may be short notice but we’ll do the best we can for this week.

(by the way – the scones freeze beautifully, if you want to plan ahead and stock up)
