Meet Maplewood’s women business owners: from architects to veterinarians, acupuncturists to upholsterers (AND TEA SHOPS!)
Event is free, with a cash bar. We will have several teas to sample.

Saturday March 13/2010 – 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. St. Louis Community Farmers Winter Market at St. John’s Episcopal Church 3664 Arsenal, across from Tower Grove Park. We serve freshly brewed tea (and St. John’s special blend coffee); and have a selection of teas and brewing accessories from the shop.
Jane from Queen’s Cuisine is usually with us, serving up her tasty English pastries (which you can also special order to pick up at the shop – scones, clotted cream, pork pies, Eccles cakes….YUM)

Sat Mar 27 – Shop opens at 9:00 a.m. as a courtesy to shoppers at the Maplewood Farmers Market at the Schlafly Bottleworks. This is the last Saturday Market at Schlafly for this season

Friday April 9/2010 – Maplewood Art Walk 6-9 p.m. Usual Shop hours will be extended to 9:00 p.m. for this event.
Experience the artists, galleries, and restaurants of the Maplewood Arts District, including opportunities to purchase special items for yourself and those upcoming spring/early summer gift giving occasions.
We will host Susan Saxton’s unique Heart Strings jewelry; have a good selection of the SewSack bags (made from vinyl banners repurposed from local museums and institutions), and possibly other guest artists yet to be determined (here for this evening and again on Saturday April 10)
Park at the Folk School lot, enjoy a complimentary cup of tea while you browse and shop, then head north, for more fun. We will be open till 9:00 p.m. (or till the last person leaves)
Sarah Carmody’s Photography Studio at 2707 Sutton will be serving complimentary tea from our shop as well.
